Assignment: Create a "Survival Kit" for an environment of your choosing.
I decided to make a survival kit for being the "ideal" 1950's housewife. The apron unzips to reaveal hidden pockets full of everything a housewife could need, including cooking untensils, instant cake mix, and frozen dinners. In the left pocket are beauty supplies, makeup, pearls, etc. for looking the part. In the right pocket are more devious things like cigarettes, control top panty hose, and pill bottles. Inspiration was taken from the Rolling Stone's song "Mother's Little Helper." photographed February 2009 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
