Fits Like a Glove, etc. by rainycanary Fits Like a Glove, etc. by rainycanary
Dress made entirely of yellow dish gloves. I draped the pattern, cut it out of muslin and then cut and sewed on millions of pieces of glove onto each piece. There are about 52 pairs of gloves used to make this, and at least 40 hours of sewing.

By far, my most labor intensive piece.

January 2009.

Fits Like a Glove, etc. by ~rainycanary. About 52 pairs of yellow rubber gloves were used in the making of this dress. The suggester said, "Gorgeous AND talented and looking very much like a little canary in her self-made dress of rubber gloves." ( Suggested by BrokenEver and Featured by Kitten-of-Woe )

Nice. is sewing rubber gloves hard? I love how the design uses the fingers as decorative trims.

I remember seeing this on the craftster forums a while ago. Didn't get a chance to say so then, but great job. Congrats on the DD, too :)
